... CELEBRATING A 50-YEAR-OLD

Flos celebrates 50 years in 2012 and has released an App for the iPhone. In the app you can find info about the company history, products, publications, videos and photos from the past 50 years. 

I love most of the lamps Flos has made under the years, especially the ones from Achille Castiglioni. Here's one to start with - Taraxacum '88. Named from the latin name of dandelions. I'll be back with more favourites from Flos in the future.

... SAVAGE BEAUTY

I saw the alexander mcqueen exhibition "Savage Beauty" at the Met last summer - a fabulous fantastic exhibition. My favourite part was the hologram with Kate Moss that made me got the chills. Amazing. The film doesn't do it justice but is worth a look.

I have for periods of my life been addicted to Lauritz. The good thing with that is that I learned a bit about danish furnitures. This is an example of that; the Ax-chair that I liked since the first time I saw it. Designed 1947 by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for Fritz Hansen. It's not mine yet, but hopefully one day ...

Located in Beverly Hills, California, the Sheats Goldstein Residence is a iconic property designed by John Lautner, originally built in 1963. It boast rosewood floors, custom built in furniture, and triangular roof. I love it all.
